Avoiding The Phone Queue

Our eConsult facility is up and running and will save you time. There is no need to wait on the phone, just complete a simple form online which our Patient Care Coordinators will action on the same day. Requesting our help via eConsult is the same as calling the surgery, but helps to keep our phone lines free for those without internet access.

It is really easy to use, you can inform the doctor of your symptoms, get advice online and upload photos if appropriate which can help the clinician with diagnosis and treatment. We will deal with your request based on your medical needs; as well as any administrative and general enquiries.

Our phone lines are extremely busy at the moment due to the huge pressure on appointments, and significant increase in calls from previous years. We are working with our phone provider to increase capacity to meet the increased number of calls we are receiving, however if your call is non-urgent, administrative or to book a routine appointment please wait until later in the day to phone, where you will experience a much shorter wait.

You can also visit our Self Help Pages to find advice and contact details for services you can refer yourself to directly.

Thank you for helping keep our phone line free for those who cannot use eConsults

Out of Hours

Out of hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
